Services Friday for Mrs. Pettit - Mrs. Rosepha Pettit, widow of Charles Pettit, died Wednesday morning at the home of Mrs. Lena Hilton, where she had made her home for the past five years. She was born Aug. 4, 1856, and was the daughter of Louisa [Emily] and George Palmer of Martville. Surviving here are one daughter, Mrs. Andrew Stoddard of Fair haven, and one son, Vernon of Sterling, and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the home of her daughter. Burial will be made in Springbrook cemetery.
