Alice Meryle Brindle, 86, of Barree died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 1987, at the Huntingdon County Nursing, Home, Huntingdon where she had a guest since January. Born in Spruce Creek Aug. 28, 1900, she was the daughter of George W. and Nannie O. (Moffet) McMullin. She was united in to Harry W. Brindle, May 10, 1919 at Cumberland, Md. He preceded her in death Aug. 20, 1962.

Surviving are three brothers and two sisters: Francis (Frank) McMullin of Huntingdon; Eugene McMullin, Barree; Carl McMullin, Altoona; and Mary McMullin and Ruth McMullin, both of Tyrone.

Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brindle was a member of the United Methodist Church, Barree. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Grove Funeral Home, Alexandria, the Rev.
Charles L. Baughman officiating. Interment will be made in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Petersburg.

Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of
services.
