He died Monday afternoon at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Christine Wedgeworth of Oak Grove; two stepsons, Glen Meadows and Scooty Meadows, both of Oak Grove; two stepdaughters, Miss Dewona Meadows and Miss Debbie Meadows, both of Oak Grove; six sisters, Mrs. C. S. Ariender, Mrs. Laney Shirley and Mrs. Mattie Molder, all of Forest, Miss., Mrs. Viola Williams and Mrs. Myrtle Green, both of Delhi, and Mrs. Hazel Butler of Raleigh, Miss.
