Mr. Russell died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe after a week's illness.
Survivors include his widow; six sons, Kelly and Cooper Russell, Delhi, John Russell, Kermit, Tex., Hoyt Russell, Bossier City, Kenneth Russell, Fort Worth, Tex., and Ray Russell, Waskom, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Howell, Bossier City, Mrs. Otto Foster, Delhi, and Mrs. John W. Fleming, Monroe; two brothers, Lee Russell, Delhi and Alton Russell, Tucson, Ariz.; 31 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
