She leaves three sons, Edward L. Smith of Murray, Kentucky, Ted Smith of Memphis, and Guy L. Smith of Richmond, Virginia; two daughters, Mrs. Lee Ross of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Mrs. Jane Hazelwood of Martin; one brother, Joe C. Holbrook of Dresden; one sister, Mrs. Rea Brooks, Sr. of Memphis; and seven grandchildren. Her husband, Guy Smith, preceded her in death in 1957.
Services were held Monday afternoon at the Doug Murphy Chapel with the Rev. O.A. Marrs officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden with Doug Murphy Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were L.W. McCuan, Jerry McMinn, Steve Damron, Billy Gene Wagster, Larry Hazelwood, and Wayne Elkins.
