Mrs. Laura Luedtke, 81, Merrill Route 5 died about 3 am today at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Wausau. She had been ill for about three months.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Town of Maine in Marathon County. The Rev Gerald Herman will officiate, and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Town of Maine. Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home in Merrill from 2 pm Friday to 10 am Saturday, and at the church from 11 am Saturday to the hour of services.
The former Laura Krause was born Dec. 13, 1890, in the Town of Berlin, Marathon County daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F W Krause. She was married Dec 20, 1913, in the Town of Berlin to Edwin Luedtke, who died Sept 3, 1964.
Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Charles Alger, Mantua, Ohio; three sons, Delbert 118 Genesee St., Merrill, Frank, Ravenna, Ohio, and Eugene Town of Maine; Two sisters; Mrs. Minnie Kudick, 124 1/2 N. Prospect St., Merrill, and Mrs. Erna Kleinschmidt, Town of Scott; 14 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
