Erna K. Kleinschmidt, 77, Route 1, Merrill, died at Holy Cross Hospital on July 15, 1973. She had been ill for the past month.
The former Erna Krause was born on July 16, 1896 in Merrill, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick W. Krause. On September 9, 1916 she married Emil G. Kleinschmidt while in the Town of Scott. He died on May 22, 1965.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Town of Scott.
Survivors include two sons Louis and William broth of Merrill; a sister Mrs. Minnis Kudick, also of Merrill along with four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 25, 1973 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Town of Scott. The Rev. Henry Geischen officiated and burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
