Mrs. Elizabeth Moore, 70, of 1392 Old Route 22, Duncansville, died Friday evening July 14, 1995 at her home.
She was born May 27, 1925, in Bavaria, Germany, the daughter of Nepomuk and Marie (Lehner) Knab. She married Elwood M Moore on April 18, 1950, in Altoona. He prededed her in death on July 27, 1983.
Mrs Moore was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Duncansville.
She enjoyed gardening and volunteering her time at church.
Surviving is a son, Michael A. at home; a daughter, Patricia Damratoski (spelling corrected from Damaratoski)of Pittsburgh; her mother of Altoona; four brothers: Harold and Edward Knob and Joseph Knab, all of Altoona, and Herman Knab of Duncansville; two sisters, Rose Reece of Hollindaysburg and Caroline Chamberlain of Duncansville; and one granddaugher.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Liebegott-Fisher Funeral Home, Duncansville.
Interment at Alto-Reste Park
Preceded in death by her father on Nov. 27, 1962 and a sister, Mary Kraszewski on Nov. 7, 1991. Also surviving is a granddaughter Melissa.
