Daughter of Jerome D. and Arietta Hamilton Brady she was widowed, lived at RD 1 Oil City, Sugarcreek Township, died in Grandview Convalescent Home of congestive heart failure due to arteriosclerotic heart disease, per death certificate 118050, whose informant was Mrs. Clinton Ross of RD 1 Oil City. Buried Dec 28 1959.

Oil City -- Mrs. Jennie Brady Grinder, 85, of RD 1, died at 5:40 am today in the Grandview Convalescent Home. She was born March 21, 1874 in Clarion County, daughter of Jerome D. and Arietta Hamilton Brady.

On Dec. 13, 1904, she married Harry W. Grinder, who died Oct. 11, 1939.

She was a member of the Beacon Light Bible Class of the Stone Methodist Church of Meadville.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clinton (Genevieve) S. Ross of RD 1, with whom she lived, and Mrs. M. Willard (Esther) Grand of Meadville; a brother, John P. Brady of Independence, KS; five grandchildren, William H. Ross of Jonesville, MI, Paul C, Ross of Mather Air Force Base, CA, Mrs. James A. Rogers of Oil City, Richard E. Grant and Robert L. Grant of Meadville; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 pm Monday in the Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Evert, pastor of Hasson Heights United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Dempseytown Cemetery.
