Mrs. Baltes was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed baking goodies for various friends and occasions. She was a life member of both the Aurora Moose #400 and the Joliet Moose #300 and a past Senior Regent of the Moose and Collegian of the Moose. Mrs. Baltes worked for several years in food service and was active in various activities with the Women of the Moose. When she and her husband were younger, they enjoyed square dancing together.
Survivors include her four sons, Frank Rowley of Morris, IL, Allen Baltes of Aurora, IL, Timothy Baltes of Rockford, IL and Lee (Marsha) Baltes of Aurora, IL; three daughters, Linda (Alfred) Kempke of Joliet, IL, Michelle (James) Wade of Aurora, IL, and Beverly (David) Lowe of Tampa, FL; 13 grandchildren, Frank (Britney) Rowley, Jr., John Rowley, Gary (Kim) Kempke, Lisa Kempke, Karianne Kempke, Doug (Deb) Musich, Jennifer Hart, Andrea Hart, KarrieAnn (Matt) Bohnak, David Tucker, David Baltes, Craig Baltes and Brian Baltes; three great grandchildren, Vanessa Kempke, Tabitha Musich and Kassandra Baltes and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert on November 11, 2002; her brother, Charles Calcaterra and her parents.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 31, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at THE DALEIDEN LAKE STREET MORTUARY. Fr. David Palmatier, O.S.B. will officiate with interment at River Hills Memorial Park.
