Mrs. Charlotte Anderson Parker - REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Charlotte Anderson Parker, 86, had her transition on Monday afternoon January 19, 2009 at North Spring Assisted Living. Mrs. Parker was born in Tattnall County, October 19, 1922, to the late Iley Anderson and Eva Anderson Howard. She was a retired hairdresser. She was a member of the Reidsville United Methodist Church, the Tommy Thompson Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Guild, and served on the Reidsville UMC Administrative Board. She was a member of the Eastern Star and also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, C. Grady Parker; sister, Yvonne West; and step-father, James A. Howard. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Libby and Neil Rogers, Brenda and Ted Tatum; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerome and Ginger Parker, Wayman and Janice Parker all of Reidsville. One brother, I. Donald Anderson (Sally) of Savannah; sister, Joyce A. Reynolds of Evans, GA; step-brother, Jimmy Howard (Virginia) of Martinez, GA; and sisters-in-law, Helen P. Harrelson of Pooler, GA. and Judy Tippins of Hinesville, GA; grandchildren, Phyllis and David Crews, Renee' and John Howard, Trevor and Melissa Tatum, Brandon and Natalie Parker all of Reidsville, GA., Ronald and Joy Rogers of Clermont, GA, SuzAnne and Smitty Lamb of Tifton, GA, Wendy and Perry Scarborough of Lake Park, GA., Haley and Sean Howard, Misty and Will Self, Jason and Avery Parker all of Statesboro, GA; 18 great-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Wednesday from the funeral home. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00pm Thursday from the Reidsville United Methodist Church with the Reverends Marc Foster, David Hudson and Steve Miller officiating.
