She was our angel who loved her Lord and family and worked hard to give us what we needed growing up. She was the rock that held us together for the last 50 years without a Dad. We love her very much!
A native of Reidsville, GA, Mrs. Reynolds was born on March 1, 1930 to the late Iley Anderson and Eva Anderson Howard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Theo Reynolds in 1968, two sisters, Charlotte A. Parker and Yvonne A. West and her stepfather, James A. Howard. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of The Worship Center in Augusta, GA. She was affectionately known in the family as “Mema” and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Reynolds also loved to garden, cook and square dance.
She is survived by her four daughters, Marsha (Jack) Lanier, Evans, GA, Pamela (George) Ward, Johns Creek, GA, Janet (Johnny) Boynton, North Augusta, SC and Janine (Larry) Romanowski, Evans, GA; a brother, Donald Anderson, Savannah, GA; a stepbrother, Jimmy (Virginia) Howard, Martinez, GA; eight grandchildren, Travis (Erin) Lanier, Tamara (Chad) McCrickard, Amanda Ward, Kristen (Daniel) Beaufort, Andrea (Patrick) McGuire, Lauren Boynton, Benjamin Romanowski, Beth Romanowski; nine great-grandchildren, Myah Lanier, Carson, Trey, Edward and Kramer McCrickard, Cayden and Caroline Beaufort, Teagan and Reynolds McGuire.
Pallbearers will be all of her grandsons and great grandsons.
The family would like to express deep appreciation to the staff of Camellia Walk Assisted Living and Memory Care for their compassionate service over the past four years while Mrs. Reynolds was in their care.
