Daughter of John Wesley and Elizabeth (Edwards) Yarbrough.
Wife of Rev. and Dr. Basil L. Lowrey (Methodist) ~ married September 13, 1832, Hall Co., GA.

*son, George Pierce Lowrey (m. Sarah Emily Ragsdale).
*son, Joseph Tarpley Lowrey born March 1844 in Cherokee County Georgia. Joseph died March 28, 1905, buried Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia.
*son, James Fletcher Lowry, born 24 June 1838, died after Gen. Lee's surrender in April, 1865, after being wounded in the battle of Sailor's Creek, VA. James Fletcher was the first husband of Sarah Emily Ragsdale, and had a daughter, Addie Fletcher Lowry. There is no known grave marker for James Fletcher Lowry.
