Mrs. Sadie Hess received word last Saturday that her brother-in-law, Everette Hess, of Lewistown, Mont., had passed away Thursday, Feb, 18, at Warm Springs hospital of bronchial pneumonia.
Surviving are his wife, Lillie; son, Ellis of Lewistown; daughter, Bernice Ford of Winifred, Mont., and three grandchildren; sisters, Ina Robinson of Lake Village, Ind., Esther Potter, Kankakee, Bonnie LaBare, Hammond, Ind.; brother, Hilton of Winifred, Mont.
One daughter, Ona Hansen preceded her father in death.

Everette Hess, 77, of Lewiston, Mont., native of Momence, died in a Warm Springs, Mont., hospital Thursday. Rites were held Tesday at Lewiston.
Mr. Hess was born here April 4, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Hess. He was one of 15 children.
He was married here Oct. 18, 1899, to Lily Havers of this community. Thirty-seven years ago, they moved to Montana.
Survivors are the widow: son, Ellis at home; daughter, Mrs. Hugh Ford of Winifred, Mont; three grandchildren; brother, Hilton of Winifred; sister, Mrs. Ina Robinson of Lake Village, Ind; Mrs. Edith Bunch of DeMotte, Ind; Mrs. Bonnie LeBau of Hammond, Ind; and Mrs. George Potter of Kankakee; and sister-in-law Mrs. Sadie Hess of Momence.
A daughter, Mrs. Bernt Hanson preceded him in death.
