Services for Adolphus Chamblee, 72, retired farmer of the Gum Creek Community, were held from the Providence Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Chamblee died March, 1958 at his home of a heart condition.
He leaves two brothers, J. W. Chamblee of Gum Creek and J. N. Chamblee of Red Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Reich of Fulton and Mrs. Cleta Samples of Delta City.
