He was shot at John Ascuaga's Nugget hotel-casino. Two California members of the Vagos Motorcycle Club also were wounded.
Cherished father of Summer Jean Pettigrew; beloved son of Geri Pettigrew and loving brother of John "Jay" Pettigrew, Joe Pettigrew, Jim Pettigrew and Janene Moreno. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 9AM-9PM with a funeral service on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10AM, Oak Hill Funeral Home's Chapel of the Oaks.
