Mrs. Arthur (Claudine M.) Suzewits, 76, of Decatur died 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (31Oct1990) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: Central Christian Church.
Mrs. Suzewits was born in Westervelt on 08Jul1914, daughter of Claude & Myrtle Jackson Calvert. She was a member of Central Christian Church & was very active in the ladies organizations at the church. She had worked as a social worker for Decatur Twp. for 20 years before retiring in 1976. She married Arthur A. Suzewits in 1942.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Jack Calvert of Hollister, MO; David Suzewits of Naperville; sisters, Inez Smith, Pearl Howe & Nellie Hill, all of Decatur; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, 1 daughter & 3 sisters preceded her in death.
