Mrs. Rosa (Beisel) Shaw, 88, who lived west of the Pleasant Hill church, died in the Newsum Convalescent Home, Frankfort, at 12:25 a. m. Wednesday. She had been in failing health for a year and was hospitalized before going to the Newsum Convalescent Home eight months ago.

Mrs. Shaw was born in Clinton county and was married to Lynn Shaw in 1892. He died in 1946. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill church, the Ross Township Home Demonstration club, and was an honorary member of the PWO club.

Surviving are two sons, Earl B. of Frankfort route 7 and Charles of Fort Wayne, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Strange of Kalkaska., Mich. There are also 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Last rites will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Moore & Brown Funeral Home, Rossville, with the Rev. E. Dean Finley officiating. Burial will be in the Rossville cemetery.
