Ada McCool "Queenie," 83, beloved wife, mother and friend, passed away August 19, 2010 in Del City. She was born February 17, 1927 in Pike County, Kentucky, to Norman and Dickie (Perry) Queen. Ada married Robert McCool on December 2, 1952 in Sumter, S.C. They had 2 sons. They moved to Del City in 1971. Ada served in the US Air Force, a member of OCCWA, and Ridgecrest Church of Christ in Midwest City, OK. She enjoyed traveling, yoga and swimming. Survived by husband, Robert K. McCool; 2 sons: Ronald L. McCool and wife Laura, Robert K. McCool, II and wife Kathi; 4 grandchildren: Daniel McCool and wife Joy, Anna Ballay and husband Matt, Joshua McCool and wife Ashley, Nicole Cunningham and Husband Kory Goldammer; 3 great-grandchildren: Hope McCool, Julieanna McCool and Maliah McCool; 1 brother, Bernard Queen. Preceded in death by both parents. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 23, 2010, at Ridgecrest Church of Christ, 500 N. Air Depot, with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
