Max Deloy "Grumpy Grandpa" Burton

Max Deloy Burton returned home on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. At the age of 77, with a smile on his face and a halo around his head, he passed away at Sandy Regional Medical Center in Utah. His old heart gave out physically, but his heart will remain with ours forever. Max was born in Levan, Utah, on September 20, 1932, to parents, George and LaVer Burton. He is survived by wife, Mary Anne, and children: Michelle, Mitch, Maxie, and Joni, and by his brothers and sisters: Irene, Maurice, Renee, Dick, Fairon, Geniel, Lynn, Sandy, Jackie, Wayne, and Kenny. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily, son, Dino, parents, George and LaVer, and sisters, Veda and Bonnie. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 South, where friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., and Thursday one hour prior to the service.
