Mary Hoffman
Members of the St. Aloysius Alter Society will recite the rosary Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Miller's Tulare Funeral Home for Mary E. Hoffman, 89, 525 No. H Street. She died this morning in a Tulare convalescent hospital.
Mrs. Hoffman was a native o Perryville, Missouri and had live in Tulare 64 years. She was the widow of the late Ernie Hoffman who died in 1944.
Mrs. Hoffman was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Altar Society and Woman's Study Club. She was also a member of the Tulare Grange #298.
She is survived by three sons, Emmett Hoffman, and Hebert Hoffman both of Tulare and Jesse Hoffman of Lemoore, seven grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Another rosary recitaton will be held Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in the Miller's Funeral Home. Mass of the resurrection will be said Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Burial will be beside her husband in the Tulare Cemetery.
