She married Herman Gerken in 1914 in Fort Bend Co., Texas and lived in Beasley, Fort Bend Co., Texas. They had seven children: Dolores, Lorena, Albert Henry, Raymond (F.), Ruth, Ella Mae, and Donald Gerken.
She died in 1964 in Beasley, Texas. Her service was at Frieden United Church of Christ, Beasley, Fort Bend Co., Texas. She was buried in the church cemetery.
