The following obituary was published in the Rosenberg Herald on November 1, 1956:

"Funeral Srvices Held Saturday For Mrs. B. Albright"

Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Bertha Schendel Albright, 82, from the E and R Church in Beasley. Rev. Robert Mohr and Rev. C. H. Thompson officiated.

Mrs. Albright was born in Washington County in 1874 and was married to Emil Albright in 1896, who passed away on September 8, 1923. She came to Fort Bend County in 1908.

She is survived by three sons, Frank and Joe of Beasley and John of Rosenberg; two daughters, Mrs. Ella Gerken of Rosenberg and Mrs. Augusta Schmersal of Houston; two step-sons, Bruno of Beasley and Rudolph of Waco, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Martha Letts of Galveston; twenty-seven grandchildrenand 43 great-grandchildren.

Interment was made in Cottonwood Cemetery near Rosenberg and under the direction of Garmany-Janca Funeral Homer.

Her grandsons acted as pallbearers.
