John Allen, 81 of Willard, died at 12:20 p.m. yesterday at Burge Hospital after several years illness.
A native of Douglas County, Mr. Allen had taught several years and had been in merchandising 38 years. He retired 13 years ago and moved to Willard. he was a member of the Ash Grove Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, a brother, Jim; a sister, Nancy Chaney, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery.
