MR. MCBRIDE

CALDWELL- Funeral services for Mr. Leon Burton McBride, 74, of Dime Box, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday in he Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home chapel, with burial following in the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery. Rev. James C Hill of the Caldwell First Baptist Church will officiate.

Mr. McBride died Tuesday at this home in Dime Box. He was born July 30, 1903, in Hunt County, and had lived in Dime Box for about eight years.

Mr. McBride was an electrician with the Exxon refinery in Baytown, retiring after 30 years service. He was a deacon in the Dime Box First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. L. C. McBrice of Dime Box; two daughters, Mrs. Ray McClain of Rockdale and Mrs.D E. R. Pharis of Dime Box; one brother, Mr. William McBride of San Diego; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Smart and Mrs. Mildred Roundtree, both of Greenville; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
