Wilma was raised by her parents Claude and Stella Ballew, a family that loved the Lord. She had three brothers,Raymond, Fred, and Cecil Ballew, three sisters Effie Ballew Bishop,Faye Ballew Silvers,and Loretta Ballew Springfield.
She was the mother of Five Children,Two Sons, Wayne and Gary Cowart,Three Daughters, Brenda Cowart Chambers,Janelle Cowart Smith, and Sharon Cowart Freeman Hipsley.
Wilma loved her husbands and children very much. She really enjoyed traveling,but it is certain that she would have loved to do much more.Now she is taking the journey of journeys to her heavenly home.She will be missed so much by all who had privilege of her acquaintance.

After the death of her first husband John Paul Cowart, Wilma married Waldon "Woody" Woodring. They to enjoyed the companionship of one another very much.

Wilma, a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother,and a great grandmother will be missed very much.
