Born November 30, 1947, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of Arthur L. Lucas of Hancock, Md., and the late Idella V. Trail Lucas.
She was a 1965 graduate of Hancock High School; a 1966 graduate of Towson University Teachers College and received her master's degree from Shippensburg University and she taught in the Washington County Maryland Schools for 40 years. She was a well respected teacher.
She is survived by her father Arthur Lucas, her husband William C. Jackson; two sons: Marty L. Adams and Randy E. Adams; stepdaughter Valerie A. Roach; and one brother, Norty Lucas (husband of Bonnie). She was preceded in death by twin daughters, Sheila and LeAyn Adams buried in this cemetery and one sister, Tammy DiNenna.
Burial was made in Rehobeth United Methodist Cemetery, Fulton County, Mercersburg, Pa..
