Funeral services for Clyde Morrison of Portales, who died Thursday morning in the Roosevelt General Hospital, will be Saturday at 3:30 in the Wheeler Starlight Chapel. Ernest Wheeler Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Portales Cemetery.
Owner and operator of the Clyde Morrison Storm Doors And Windows, Morrison came to Roosevelt County in 1919.
He is survived by his wife Narcissus; one sister Mrs Damon McCrary and one brother Homer Lee, all of Portales. There are other near relatives.
Pallbearers will be Hubert Morgan, Sr., Vernon Hyatt, Ping Evetts, Durward Foster, Lester Smith, and P.F. Turner. Honorary bearers will be Babe Morgan, Abb Ferguson, Otis Foster, Mickey Morgan, Hubert Morgan, Jr., James Evetts, Leo Stroup, Dr. H. O. Lehman, Dr. E.J. Flynn and Etzel Turner.
