LOGAN – Audrey Estelle Mechlin, 97, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, in the Logan Health Care Center, Logan, Ohio, after an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 17, 1907, in Bradford, Penn., the daughter of the late Burt and Kathryn (Lyons) Buel.
Mrs. Mechlin was a supervisor-foreman for Kroger Baking Co., in columbus, Ohio, and a member of St. John Catholic Church in Logan.
She is survived by tow daughters, kathryn Anne Wert, Logan, and Nancy Meda Millar, Columbus; two grandchildren, Paul Wert, Logan, and Michael Hatcher, Columbus; four great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Patricia Cram of Olean, N.Y.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Bailey, her second husband, Herbert Mechlin, one brother, one sister and four grandchildren.
Committal service and burial are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Friends may call Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, 60 W. Hunter St. in Logan.
