Funeral Saturday Afternoon

The funeral of Billie Bristoe will take place in the Abilene cemetery Saturday afternoon immediately after the arrival of the first westbound train. Mr. Bristoe was a man of about 40 years of age, a stonemason and a close friend of Peter Barbarian of this city. He died in Dallas, March 26, from typhoid fever and has been held in that city pending funeral arrangements. It was thought that his remains would be sent to Canada, his native home, but there appears to have been some misunderstanding, and Mr. Barbarian ordered him sent here for burial. The deceased was a member of the Old Fellows Lodge.
