Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Willis, widow of Joseph Willis, died Friday, October
15. 1943 at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas B. Mann, Finksburg. at the age of 82 years. Mrs. Willis was a
daughter of the late William S. and Maria Haines Gamber. She was twice
married. Her first husband was James Arnold, also deceased.
Surviving are two children from her first marriage, Mrs. Mann, with whom she
was residing, and Snyder M. Arnold, Westminster; nine grandchildren,
three great-grandchildren, and four brothers. William I. Gamber. Reisterstown;
Jacob G. Gamber, Baltimore; Reuben C. Gamber and Levi E. Gamber, Westminster.
The funeral was held Tuesday morning a t 10:30 o'clock from the H
Bankard & Son funeral home The Rev Lowell S. Ensor officiated. Burial
was in Providence Methodist cemetery.
The pallbearers were: William Hoffman, Celus Belleson, John Wolfe.
Otto Seipp, Albert Arnold and Samuel Arnold .
