He worked for Mitchem Tire Company in Springfield. and then retired as a salesman from Crawford Tire Company in Marshfield.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; a sister, Opal Coates, and a step-sister, Marjorie Sims, and step-brother, Carl Rolufs.
