Funeral services for Laura M. Remc, 67, of 28 Broadway Street, Rock Springs, were held Thursday, June 18 at 10 a.m. at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. The Rev. Gary Ruzicka officiated.

A parish rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 17 at the Vase Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Paul J. Wataha Memorial Park Section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wayne Johnson, Paul Johnson, Jim Mason, Rick Mason, Dee Walton and Roger Ingabrand.

Mrs. Remc died at her home at 4 a.m. Monday, June 15 following a sudden illness.

She was born in Rock Springs on Jan. 7, 1914, the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Jessie Dickson Fletcher. She attended schools in Rock Springs and was a graduate of the Rock Springs High School with the class of 1933.

She married Frank Remc in Evanston on Feb. 7, 1954. Mrs. Remc worked in the school hot lunch program for the School District No. 1 at the time of her death. She was a member of the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Frank, one son, Glenn Mason, both of Rock Springs, one daughter, Mrs. Jay (Carol) Walton of Highlands, N.J., 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Dickson of Rock Springs and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Remc was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Mason, one brother, William Fletcher, and one sister, Lucille Fowler.
