Passed away Saturday, September 2, 1989 at Sun Valley Manor. Age 88 years. He was born Aug. 31, 1901 in Coldwater Michigan coming here as a young man. He married Frances Secord who passed away in Oct. of 1933. He later married Jean Falkenhagen Oct. 15, 1954. She passed away Feb. 21, 1988. He had owned and operated Fretter's Garage from 1928 until his retirement in 1971. He attended First Christian Church West. Surviving are two sisters and one brother, Myrtle Fox, Saginaw; Florence Mecum, Arkansas; Harrison Fretter, Grand Blanc, Mich; several nieces and nephews. Three brothers Floyd, Virgil and Frank Fretter predeceased him.
Private funeral services has taken place. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Neil White officiated. Arrangements by the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road.
