Lessie Bard Garland, 89, Rt. 2, McConnellsburg, died Monday, January 28, 1985, at the Fulton County Medical Center.
Born in Belfast Township, Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lydia Mellott Bard.
Her husband, Wilson Blair Garland, preceded her in death in 1970.
She was a member of Sideling Hill Christian Church in Harrisonville.
She is survived by one daughter, Doris Funk of McConnellsburg; three sons, Forrest L. Garland of Stevensville, Md., George C. Garland of Chambersburg and Eugene B. Garland of McConnellsburg; two sisters, Cleo Garland of Quincy and Ruby Kerlin of McConnellsburg; one brother, George Bard of McConnellsburg; seven grand-children; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January .m, at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Needmore. The Rev. David Reams and the Rev. Dale Mountain will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg are in charge of arraignments.
