W.H. Jackson, 40, city employee was landed in the city jail on a technical charge of murder, after he admitted he had killed the editor because of alleged derogatory editorials which had appeared in the paper about him. Jackson walked into the office where Parker, his wife and daughter were conversing, pulled a revolver and fired five times, two of the bullets taking affect, police said.
