Born in Minneapolis, the eldest of three children of Theodore V. and Ravena Boles Anderson. He grows up in western Wisconsin. He marries Arlene Jeanette Larson in 1951. They have seven kids together. Jim Anderson farms most of his life in Oak Grove Township. He dies in 1999 at age 73.

PRESCOTT - James Theodore Anderson, age 73, of Prescott died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999, at River Falls Area Hospital.
He was born Sept. 1, 1925, in Minneapolis, the son of Theodore Victor and Revena (Ada). He graduated from Prescott High School in 1943.
He was married to Arlene Jeanette Larson on Feb. 10, 1951, in St. Paul. He farmed most of his life in Oak Grove Township.
He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, a lifetime member of River Falls Sportsman Club, past member of River Falls National Guards and past 4-H leader.
Survivors include: his wife, Arlene; sons, Ted (Joy), River Falls, Steve (Becky), Green Bay, Mark of Prescott, Peter (Karrie) of Woodbury, Minn.; daughters, Vicki Paul of Colby, Peggy (Scott) Jensen of River Falls, Amy Anderson/Terry Bettrand of Princeton, Minn.; brothers, Darrell (Milda) Anderson of Osceola; 19 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jean.
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 21, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Oak Grove Township. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were: Monte Paul, Patrick Paul, Nicholas Anderson, Teddy Anderson, Jesse Jensen, Paul Jensen, Luke Jensen, Jim Anderson, Bryan Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Clayton Anderson.
