Clara A. Post, 85, of Springfield and Fond du Lac, Wis., died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, in Fond du Lac. She was born Dec. 23, 1917, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Mona Geiger Kraus. She married Madison Post in 1944 in Tampa, Fla. Mrs. Post formerly worked for the U.S. War Department in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, and worked at Sangamon State University. She formed a knitting and quilting group called the Knitters, volunteered for CIVS, tutored at Lawrence Adult Center and was a member of Church of the Little Flower. Survivors: husband, Madison; two sons, Madison J. (wife, Donna) Post of Boulder, Colo, and Warren M. (wife, Judy) Post of Fond du Lac, Wis.; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Church of the Little Flower, the Rev. Churck Edwards officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery. Bisch and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
