Mrs. Cynthia Rector died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Willis, Friday, July 4th of paralysis after a sickness of two weeks. She was born in Pinkey, N. Y., June 2, 1849, the daughter of John and Eunice Adams. She was united in marriage to Nicholas Rector, November 17, 1868. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George Willis, Mrs. Minnie Auger and Everet Rector, all of Perry. One sister, Mrs. Cordelia Millard and one brother, Milo Adams, both of Watertown, also survive.
Mrs. Rector united with the Baptist church early in life and led a devout Christian life, loved and respected by all.
The funeral was held from the home of Mrs. Willis Sunday afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. C. O. Graeber, officiating and burial being made in Glenwood cemetery.
