Q. E. Burnette taken by death

Quince Everett Burnette, 64, died Saturday night at his home here. "Quinn," as he was known, was a farmer and had lived at Keeler since 1928, when the family moved here from Tennessee, where he was born. Although he had been in ill health for several months he apparently was all right when he retired Saturday night. Besides his wife, Alice, he leaves a son, Everett of Keeler; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Evelyn) Gratzel, of Eau Claire; Mrs. Julius (Maynell) Rainey of Bangor and Mrs. Norris (Lavine) White of Coloma; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Morrison of Keeler and Mrs. Bertha Moore of Tennessee, and three brothers, John and William A. of Keeler and Ambrose of Tennessee.

Funeral services were held at the Calvin chapel at Hartford at 2 p.m. yesterday with the Rev. Olive Knapp officiating. Burial was in Keeler cemetery.
