Funeral services for Hiram P. Pearce will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Pearce, 84, Rt. 1, East Bernstadt, died Friday, May 13, 1994, at his residence from injuries sustained in a fall.

A native of Laurel County, he was born Sept. 5, 1909, to the late Charlie and Mollie Templeton Pearce. He was a retired carpenter and farmer, and was affiliated with the Mt. Carmel Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Radford Pearce; three sisters, Lillian Taphorn, Greenwood, IN, Vida Patterson, Tucson, AR, and Mary Andrews, Sanderville, GA.

Services will be conducted by Joe McQueen - burial will follow in the Old Casteel Cemetery, East Bernstadt.
