She was born May 27, 1909, to Nelphi O. and Eliza A. Weston Wahlstrom in Laketown, Utah. She married Henry Earley on Oct. 2, 1929, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and he died Dec. 21, 1980. They settled on a ranch in Round Valley, Utah, where they lived the rest of their lives.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held several positions during her lifetime. She loved music and sang in the ward choir. She enjoyed sewing, braiding rugs and cooking. She loved to play cards and going to get firewood with Henry. Her spunky personality and fun sense of humor touched the lives of all she came in contact with.

Edna is survived by one son, Oliver Earley of Lewiston, Utah; one daughter, LaRue (Bob) Johnson of Randolph, Utah; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Petersen of Ely, Nev.; and one brother, Elmer of Sacramento, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings, Stanley, Lola, Ruby, Lewis, Julia, Norine, Norman and Owen; two sons, William (Billy) and Glen; and one grandson, Kent.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 20, in the Laketown LDS Ward chapel, where friends may visit with family from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The interment will be in the Laketown Cemetery with services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier.
