Funeral services for Marian K. Kroupa were Friday, June 2, at the LDS Church with Bishop Donald J. Carpenter conducting. Interment was at the Paul J. Wataha Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Clifford Clark, Paul Buchmann, Ron Noble, Dee Thornhill, John A. Oja and George Strook.
Mrs. Kroupa, 49, 1334 Palisades Way, Rock Springs, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County where she had been a patient since May 20.
A resident of Rock Springs since 1962 and former resident of Cheyenne, Mrs. Kroupa died following a lengthy illness.
She was born Jan. 24, 1940, in Manila, Utah, the daughter of Dick and Elva Kidd Bennett.
She attended schools in Manila and was a graduate of Manila High School with the class of 1957.
She attended the University of Utah. She married Erling I. Kroupa in Manila, Sept. 5, 1959. Mrs. Kroupa was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her husband, Erling of Rock Springs; her parents, Dick and Elva Bennett of Manila; three sons, Erling Dale Kroupa, Delbert Ivan Kroupa and Daryl Jay Kroupa, all of Rock Springs; one daughter, Mrs. Steve (Leanna) Dernovich of Rock Springs; one sister, Mrs. Alex (Joan) Radosevich of Dutch John, Utah; one grandson, Jacob Dale Kroupa of Rock Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
