She was born to the union of Rudolph Dock and Estelle Alma (Taylor) Vickers on February 14, 1936 in Sikes, Louisiana.
Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her first husband, Jack David Francis, second husband, J.C. Adams, her parents and a niece, Charlene (Sharp) Brescher.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Vanessa Thacker & husband, Troy of Olla and Emma Pauline Francis of Jena; one sister, Jessie Marie Sharp & husband Tommy of Olla; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one nephew; two great nieces and two great nephews.
The family will receive friends at 5:00pm on Wednesday, September 7, 2011at the Summerville Baptist Church, Summerville, Louisiana. Services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 2:00pm in the Summerville Baptist Church with Rev. Pete McCarty, Rev. Tommy Hollis, and Rev. Leslie Tam officiating. Mrs. Voncil will be laid to rest in the Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
Pallbearers are Joe Brown, Thomas Tuner, Bradley Stewart, Trevor Thacker, Caleb Doughty and Micheal Doughty. Honorary pallbearers are Smith Hopkins, John Cooper, Gary Shipley, Jimmy Johnson, Lester Couch and J.D. Frazier.
