He was the husband of Ethel Heagy Bollinger. They were married for 55 years.
A lifelong farmer, he was a charter member of Ephrata Young Farmers and a 30-year member of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association.
Bollinger was a member of Cocalico Church of the Brethren, Denver.
Born in Clay Township, he was a son of the late Norman and Katie Burkholder Bollinger.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Irene Bollinger, Myerstown; three sons, P. Eugene, husband of Carol Wolgemuth Bollinger, Manheim; J. Marlin, husband of Deb Whalen Bollinger, and Donald L., husband of Sharon Zuck Bollinger, both of Myerstown; and seven grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Adam Bollinger, and a sister, Sarah Dierwechter.
