Mrs. Rosie Edith Stiver
Mrs. Rose Edith Stiver, 75, Altoona, R. D. 1, died Monday morning, September 16, 1957, at 4:50 o'clock in Altoona Hospital. She was born in Cambria County, January 27, 1882, the daughter of William T. and Emily Jane Tipton Alley. She married Samuel Stiver who died eight years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Emily J. Grassmyer and Mrs Mary E. Pfahler, and a son. Marion, all of Pinecroft, Blair County, and a brother, Samuel, Spruce Creek. She was a member of the Bellwood Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Fuoss mortuary, Belhvood, in charge of the Rev. Nora Verbonitz. Burial will be in Logan Valley Cemetery Altoona. Friends will be received at the mortuary.
