Preceded in death by her husband John Franklin "Johnnie" Hearn, parents Mary Catherine Murphy Moss and Elijah Howard, son John Frederick "Freddie" Hearn, sister Ester Belle Howard Rentz, brothers Burton Elijah Howard and James Wiley Howard. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 2 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie was a jolly person and enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. No puzzle was to difficult even the ones with no blacken spaces. When she couldn't find a puzzle to work she would write a short sentence in a book then using those letters see how many words she could make.
An excellent cook except for pies. Seems one or the other she could get right but seemed to never make a good crust and filling in the same pie.
She was a loving doting mother/grandmother. She loved babies and could sit and get them to sleep when no one else could.
