Esther known to family and friends as "Sally". Was the oldest daughter of Elijah and Mary Catherine Murphy Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lt Burton E Howard and a son Art.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Lee Rentz, Sr, two children, Raymond L Rentz, Jr, and Margie Marie Ankrom, brothers James Wiley, Joe Murphy (Dorothy) and Francis David Howard, Sister Marie Ivanora Hearn (Johnnie). Five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Sally was a loving mother and enjoyed her family. She was an excellent cook, seamstress and loved to piece and quilt quilts. She was active in the Baptist Church when she could.
