"Mrs. Georgeanna U. Coffee, 71 mother of Mrs. Clara Hammer of Selma died Thursday morning, November 11 at 3;10 a.m. at the Schramneck nursing home in Medford where she had been a patient for two years. She was born in Kansas City, Mo. on May 20, 1871. Two sons and a daughter survive. Edwin M. Tucker, Pendleton Oregon, George L. Usher, of the U.S. Navy, at San Pedro, and Mrs. Hammer. Surviving also are 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the L.B. Hall funeral home with Rev. H.A. Shaw, pastor of the first Baptist church officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park."
