R. Amick gave the following account after visiting the cemetery in the 1980's:

"Gravesites of Michael and Catherine Walborn are in the Lutheran Cemetery located behind the church in the center of the small village of Rebersburg, Miles Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. When leaving the interstate, one goes over a steep mountain, and there lies a beautiful valley with the village of Reberburg at the base. This peaceful valley, with many Amish families with their horses carriages and farm equipment, instantly takes one back to the days of the Walborns in the early 1800's. The two headstones are side by side and both graves also have foot stones, all made from the same red slate. Although both of their families had immigrated to American over a 100 years before, the engraving on the stones is in German and is still in excellent condition. Each contains a Bible text from the books of Timothy. The graves are located under a couple of tall trees on the edge of the cemetery overlooking the beautiful green valley."
